Bobbie LaPorte is an organizational leadership consultant and advisor, former senior executive, and a six-time Ironman triathlete who applies the possibilities mindset, discipline, and strategies of athletics to help executives get ready for anything. For more than 20 years, Bobbie served in executive leadership roles at Fortune 50 companies and technology start-ups. Leveraging her extensive corporate experience with her innate ability as a career and leadership advisor, she founded Bobbie LaPorte & Associates in 2002 to help executives gain a competitive advantage in an increasingly complex and uncertain environment.

Bobbie ran in her first marathon at age 50 and has completed six Ironman Triathlons. She strongly believes that individuals who adopt the mindset of an athlete—using goal setting, strategic planning, team building, and recovering from setbacks—will have an advantage in their professional lives. In addition, she feels that an active commitment to physical fitness fosters the confidence, focus, stamina, and mental agility necessary to thrive both professionally and personally in today’s demanding world.

To expand her impact and better serve her clients, Bobbie LaPorte recently completed her Master’s Degree in Positive Leadership and Strategy. She studied in-depth how positive psychology and human behavior apply to business—and developed an exciting new approach that helps her clients see what is possible and redefine what confidence and competence mean in an uncertain world.

Bobbie is a TEDx speaker and has published leadership articles in CEO, INC, and Entrepreneur magazines has a newsletter and podcast entitled “Executive Aid Station”, and is a frequent speaker on the connection between a commitment to fitness and career success.

Bobbie lives in San Francisco, where she enjoys working out 365 days a year, rescuing senior Golden Retriever dogs, and collecting early American Windsor chairs.
